Locations:	Van Nuys, Santa Ana, Indio (and other sites as needed)

Responsibilities:

Regulatory Compliance:

Assist in ensuring company compliance with local, state, and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Help prepare and submit required documentation and reports to regulatory agencies.
Stay informed about new laws and regulations affecting the organization.

Risk Assessment and Management:

Support the conduct of regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
Assist in developing and implementing risk management strategies.
Participate in safety audits and inspections.

Training and Education:

Assist in developing and delivering training programs on EHS topics for employees.
Ensure employees understand and comply with basic safety procedures and protocols.

Incident Investigation and Reporting:

Assist in investigating workplace accidents and incidents to determine root causes.
Help recommend and implement corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
Maintain records of all incidents and ensure timely reporting to insurance carriers.

OSHA Logs:

Manage OSHA 300 and 300A logs, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
Prepare annual summary reports as required by OSHA regulations.

Health and Safety Programs:

Help develop and enforce health and safety programs and policies.
Ensure the availability and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Promote a culture of safety within the organization.

Emergency Preparedness:

Assist in developing and implementing emergency response plans.
Participate in regular emergency drills and training sessions.
Ensure emergency equipment is properly maintained and accessible.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an EHS role preferred.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
Must be proficient in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
