The Specialist Sustain Finance will be a key finance advisor and subject matter expert to a growth-oriented, fast paced and dynamic business. In this role you will make a difference by working closely with the Sustain business and providing counsel in support of financial objectives, performance and reporting.

As the Specialist, you will also play an important role in operationalizing best practice finance functions and tools for the Sustain business.

What You Will Do:

Responsible for leading, coordinating and performing key Sustain finance deliverables and processes including month end close, financial reporting, management reporting, forecasts, budgets, long range planning, economic evaluation, key business metrics, and accounting treatment of various product offerings.
Responsible for investigating and implementing new accounting and reporting related capabilities, including tools to facilitate accounting processes in an efficient manner.
Work closely with Sustain team members to build business knowledge to gain insight that will provide active financial support and counsel to the business with a focus on financial objectives, performance and reporting.
Provide input into GD&S economic evaluations, accounting, FP&A and reporting functions in support of measuring Sustain Financial performance and reporting.
Provide strategic direction and recommendations to the Sustain business offerings.
Synthesize sophisticated accounting issues and explain their impacts to management.
Support new initiatives through complex accounting analysis, risk identification, and implementation of accounting, reporting and forecasting processes.

Who You Are:

Business degree with Finance related designation (CMA, CA, CPA, CGA, CFA or similar) or a master’s business degree (MBA) from a nationally recognized program required.
Minimum 7 years progressive experience with business performance analytics, accounting, financial reporting, planning & analysis.
Proficient knowledge of US GAAP.
Solid business acumen and understanding of regulatory environment, financial management strategies and financial reporting requirements.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills in maintaining collaborative working relationships and directly interacting with Senior Leaders.
Strong demonstrated competencies in interpersonal skills, oral and written communications, persuasion and influencing skills.
Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
Experience with prioritizing work and implementing processes and ongoing process improvements to streamline and optimize work.
Strong ability to interpret complex transactions.
Strong level of personal and professional integrity.
Operates with a high degree of independence.
Experience working with Oracle/SAP and Hyperion.

Working Conditions:

Office environment with recurring tight deadlines
Overtime is necessary and varies depending on deadlines associated with Business Unit and Corporate requests
Limited travel (<10%)
