Your tasks

You will support our sustainability managers in all steps of the certification process
You will maintain and update the certification database and help optimise processes
You will help to prepare trainings and events
You will communicate with certification system users in English and Portuguese via email
You will support in translating system documents, presentations and other materials into Portuguese
You will engage in research activities for ongoing projects and areas of interest, including topics like deforestation, International and European legislation, Human and Social Due Diligence, etc.

Your profile

Enrolled student in the aera of sustainability, economics, environmental and climate protection, agricultural and forestry management, geography, social science, marketing , international business studies or another related fields
Available for 10-20 hours per week for at least one year and onsite work in the Cologne office at least one a week
Excellent written and spoken language skills in English (at least B2) and Portuguese (at least B2, preferably native). Additional language skills will be of advantage
General IT proficiency and very good working knowledge of MS Office
Excellent PowerPoint skills
Service-oriented thinking and excellent communication skills, especially in international environments
Ability to work independently and communicate proactively
Eye and attention for details
Excellent problem-solving abilities combined with an independent working style and pragmatic and hands-on attitude
