Sustainability Manager

Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Experience: 8-10 Years of experience in Logistics Constructions Development

Education: BSc in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field, Master's degree is preferred)

Languages: English and Arabic (preferred)

Job Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Lead the organization's efforts to integrate sustainable practices and environmental stewardship into its real estate and logistics operations.
Develop and execute the company's sustainability strategy for real estate and logistics operations, in alignment with the organization's overall sustainability goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for reducing environmental impact, increasing energy efficiency, and improving waste management across real estate and logistics activities.
Lead efforts to achieve and maintain relevant sustainability certifications and compliance with environmental regulations.
Monitor and analyse key performance indicators related to sustainability, providing regular reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Identify innovative solutions and technologies that promote sustainability in real estate development, construction, transportation, and logistics operations.
Establish partnerships with suppliers, vendors, and contractors to promote sustainable practices throughout the supply chain.
Develop and deliver sustainability training programs to raise awareness and encourage employee engagement.
Collaborate with community stakeholders, Non-Governmental Organizations NGOs, and governmental bodies to foster positive relationships and contribute to local sustainability initiatives.
Manage sustainability reporting and disclosures, ensuring accurate and transparent communication of the organization's sustainability performance.
Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging regulations related to sustainability in real estate and logistics.

Skills:

Strong understanding of sustainable practices, environmental regulations, and industry standards.
Proven track record of developing and implementing sustainability strategies and initiatives.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead and execute sustainability projects effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess environmental impact and propose solutions.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, CDP) and environmental management systems (e.g., ISO 14001).
Familiarity with sustainable building practices and green certifications (e.g., LEED).
