Environmental Specialist

Location(s): Aransas Pass OR Stafford, TX

T. Baker Smith, LLC is seeking an Environmental Professional with the desire to learn, grow, and develop their professional skill sets, be invested as part of a team, and contribute to their community. This position will focus our natural resources and coastal efforts in Texas.

Your Opportunity:

Collaborate, learn, and grow yourself with other motivated, professional associates as part of a team supporting communities and clients.
Assist in the development and coordination of environmental projects.
Conduct fieldwork for wetland delineations, threatened and endangered species surveys, due diligence, site studies, and other environmental field activities.
Prepare the deliverables for projects as part of an integrated team.
Review technical reports and provide technical recommendations.
Coordinate the technical aspects of a variety of environmental and regulatory services.
Contact government agencies or private consultants to obtain information for studies.
Participate in proposal development as part of the business development process.
Achieve the scope, budget, and schedule of the project under the direction of the project.
Maintain current knowledge of equipment, techniques, procedures, and regulations.
Assist TBS’ Environmental Discipline to continue to improve and utilize innovative technology.
Participate in professional development and training.

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor of Science Degree or M.S. in environmental science, coastal or marine science, biology, forestry, or similar field.
Ability to relate to clients and people at all levels of the organization and must possess excellent communication and diplomacy skills.
