Environmental Scientist - Sligo

Join an award-winning consulting engineering firm that provide specialist services in the water supply/wastewater treatment, renewable energy and environmental sectors. This company are currently seeking to recruit a driven Environmental Scientist to join their environmental team in Sligo.

This company are currently experiencing significant growth in their environmental division. The company are looking for someone who will join a strong team of professionals and will work on EIAR projects in wind energy, green hydrogen and renewables. Other sectors may include bioenergy, manufacturing and infrastructure.

The company will offer a defined career path for development in one of the largest privately owned engineering consultancies in Ireland.

Your Role will Involve:

Perform preliminary and detailed process design of water/wastewater treatment plants based on data provided.
Research and development of new process design solutions
Keep up to date with developments in regulatory legislation and specifications that may affect design work.
Working with other team members to undertake technical work, site work, and project management.
Management of client relationships on allocated projects both internal and external.
Conducting site inspections and works supervision.

Requirements:

Minimum Level 8 Degree Qualification in environmental science, environmental engineering or a related field.
