You will be leader of the Project Commissioning Team a main responsible of the commissioning in the project. Owner and main responsible of the ’Safety from the System ‘and ‘Electrical Safety Rules’ procedures in respect to all electrical activities associated with the project.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be responsible of the Commissioning team, responsible to ensure that the Offshore Wind Farm project is commissioned according to the normative applied, in a defined time, in accordance with Project specifications.
Ensure that test values results are in compliance the normative applied.
Plan the commissioning tests of the project, creating a detailed programme of works, communicate and agree with the rest of the Project Team, Package Managers and Suppliers.
Act as the main point of contact for commissioning. Management and coordination of the Project Commissioning Team and those to manage contractor commissioning resources (contractors, manufacturers), plan and chair site meetings, complete full site quality, safety and environmental inspections. Deal with and resolve disputes whether they are technical, economical or other.
Prepare and review tender documents including commissioning tests to be performed, contractor’s scope of works, costs, and programme according to our standards and specifications.
What you’ll bring
- Experience in commissioning, construction or design of substations, transmission lines, or power plants.
- Experience in renewables business is essential.
- MASTER degree in Engineering.
- Experience managing teams.
- Health, safety and environmental legislation applicable to construction projects particularly CDM.
- Knowledge of specification, design, maintenance, construction and commissioning of plant apparatus, control & protection equipment on transmission network.
- Ability to lead and work in a team environment.
- Knowledge on main safety regulations concerning the commissioning works.
- In possession of safety certificates, enough to perform and manage commissioning activities in energized areas.
- Grid code and OFTO proven experience.
- Transmissions and distribution experience up to 400kV.
