The Chief Sustainability Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable policies and initiatives, enhancing reporting transparency, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and stakeholder expectations. This role requires collaboration with senior management and cross-departmental teams to integrate sustainability considerations into business decision-making processes.

Strategy:
- Develop and oversee the implementation of comprehensive sustainability strategies that align with the company's vision, goals, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including senior management, to integrate sustainability considerations into business decision-making processes.
Environmental Initiatives:
- Drive the development and execution of environmental sustainability initiatives, including energy efficiency, carbon footprint reduction, waste management,
- Oversee initiatives to reduce the company's environmental impact across all operations.
Social Impact and Community Engagement:
- Design and implement social responsibility and sustainability programs that align with corporate values and community needs.
- Collaborate with HR to develop and implement diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives and ensure compliance with relevant policies.
- Lead and participate in community outreach activities that align with the company's social impact goals.
Governance:
- Ensure compliance with ESG-related regulatory standards and disclosures, including sustainability reporting frameworks such as the CSRD, CSDDD, and SFDR.
- Develop and maintain company policies that promote ethical behaviour, corporate governance, and stakeholder engagement.
Reporting:
- Prepare and present periodic reports on sustainability initiatives and key performance indicators (KPIs) for internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage and coordinate company reporting in alignment with NN Group
- Engage with external stakeholders and community organizations to communicate and advocate the company’s ESG objectives and progress.
Candidates with education suit the position
University education (Bachelor degree, Master's degree)
Language skills
Slovak - Advanced (C1) and English - Upper intermediate (B2)
Personality requirements and skills
- Strong sustainability commitment and passion
- Knowledge of ESG frameworks, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Proven experience with sustainability reporting, risk assessment, and compliance in a corporate environment
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in data collection and reporting
- Excellent communication, project management and interpersonal skills, Business level fluency in English

The salary on this position is 3.400,- EUR brutto/month depending on candidate's experience and skills and the internal renumeration process and policies.
