Your Opportunity as the Manager, Health, Safety and Environmental
Location: Memphis, TN
Work Arrangements: 100% onsite M-F
In this role you will:
Foster an environment of continuous improvement through the development and maintenance of our health, safety, and environmental systems.
Lead the current and future health, safety, and environmental requirements for the site, including assessment of current situation, setting direction, and developing action plans and executing them in a way that develops ownership and abilities in others to deliver both short and long-term results.
Participate as a member of our Plant Leadership Team and to influence the plant’s direction in sustaining compliance with Federal, State, and Local safety and environmental regulations that pertain to specific site operations.
Own our Health, Safety, and Environmental Pillar.
Develop, implement, and administer safety and environmental programs at the site.
Demonstrate working knowledge of all operating department processes and the hazards associated with all equipment and tasks.
Ensure plant safety and environmental inspections are executed, safety risks are being eliminated, and employees are following safe work practices.
Lead and serve as a training resource for the incident investigation process, coaches departments on investigating and reporting work-related incidents, injuries, first-aids, and near misses; ensures investigations and follow-ups are complete.
Produce monthly reports for safety and environmental programs.
Serve as an emergency contact for severe weather coordination, environmental and safety emergencies.
Maintain all Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) recordkeeping requirements and serve as our host for OSHA Compliance visits as well as own the OSHA Readiness Plan.

What we are looking for:
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree
Experience leading or influencing safety and environmental regulations in a manufacturing environment
Experience working with OSHA inclusive of record keeping
People management experience with ability to influence and drive continuous improvement initiatives
