Job Description
Reporting to the Site Manager, the Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Lead is accountable for the Health & Safety performance of our Seven Hills site, as well as supporting implementation of other Operational Risk initiatives including Environment, Facility Security and Business Continuity. You will be responsible for:
- Setting site direction of EHS performance through target setting and performance monitoring
- Continuous improvement to ensure site EHS compliance with legislation and Kraft Heinz global best practice
- Ensuring suitable policies, management systems and controls are applied across EHS
- Driving EHS audits and action plans
- Mitigating business continuity risks through emergency preparedness plans
- Qualitative and quantitative EHS reporting
- Rehabilitation and Return to Work
- Leading and participating in Environment and Social Governance, such as energy conservation and waste reduction initiatives.
To be successful in this role you must have:
- At least 5 years experience in EHS or safety management in a manufacturing environment, with working knowledge of relevant legislation
- Experience in dealing with regulatory agencies (i.e. Workplace Health and Safety QLD, Department of Environment & Science).
- Experience with Safety Management Systems and EHS auditing
- Experience with Rehabilitation and Return to Work
