ERM is seeking motivated Consultant who is interested in participating on a variety of projects covering the full spectrum of ERM’s services. The role will be based in Bangkok, Thailand.
The Consultant will support ERM's Sustainability Consulting Services with particular focus on project/client relationships management, technical sustainability topic and consulting work. The candidate should be familiar with work across an array of sustainability management content areas as well as periodic disclosure reporting to approved third party such as Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), with a strong focus on oil and gas, mining and power industries. The position is full-time and will be based in Bangkok, Thailand.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Play an integral role in delivering consulting services to client companies. Areas of project focus will include:
Sustainability strategy and program development and implementation, and sustainability reporting.
Conduct desk-based bench marking and research on clients, industries, and market trends.
Analyze client documentation and identify improvement opportunities (gap analysis).
Synthesize research findings into key themes, analyze information to develop conclusions and draft recommendations for client deliverables.
Prepare client deliverables.
Support the development of corporate sustainability reports, including outlining, writing, editing, and proofreading content and other client communications.
Participate in client meetings and workshops and maintain required documentation.
Assist in general business development research, marketing, and other development tasks.
Support ERM Partners-in-Charge and Project Managers to effectively manage projects.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; Master's degree preferred (environmental engineering, industrial engineering, public policy, environmental science, business administration).
Good writer and ability to translate complex issues into concise, relevant stories.
Strong analytical, logic, problem solver and systematic thinking skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills English are desired, along with facilitation skills.
Good knowledge in sustainability tools such as GRI, DJSI and ISO26000/14000 would be an advantage
Proficiency with MS office suite; ability to learn others as required.
Have good inter-personal skills, engagement skills and ability to facilitate participation from others.
Can-do attitude and enthusiasm are necessary as is strict attention to details, organization, and the ability to work quickly and efficiently.
Willingness to undertake business travel.
