Hiring Range: $120,000.00 to $145,000.00 per year.(The anticipated starting salary is based on the posted minimum requirements for this position. The offered salary will be based upon the selected applicant’s education, training, and experience.)This position is required to travel 0% to 9% of the time.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Program management, team leadership, management & mentoring of junior staff.
- Work closely with the Environmental Compliance Manager in identification of and resolving issues.
- Lead the Sustainability Teams through identification and implementation of sustainability requirements.
- Manage preparation of sustainability documentation.
- Developing, cultivating, and strengthening relationships with clients.
- Assist in improving sustainability and project integration across the LM portfolio of sites, offices, and programs.
- Provide resource needs and scope for budget calls or additions to contract.
- Oversee implementation of DOE Order 436.1A and Executive Order 14057.
- Perform gap analysis of any new sustainability requirements.
- Prepare presentations, correspondence, communication articles, and award write-ups.
- Maintain overall sustainability schedule and track activities progress.
- Assist in the implementation of ISO 14001:2015 and participate in audits and assessments.
- Oversee the development and update of training materials and manuals.
- Approve timesheets for direct reports.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Years of Relevant Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field.
- 15 years of relevant experience minimum.
