Job Overview: You will oversee agency onboarding, transactions, and producer appointments, acting as the primary coordinator for new agent appointments. This role involves collaborating with legal on contracts, ensuring compliance with multi-state regulations, and maintaining strong relationships with both external agents and internal stakeholders. In addition, you will oversee the agency compensation process and lead and/or develop process improvements, monitoring compliance, and participating in quarterly licensing audits.
This role requires a deep understanding of the insurance business, agency operations, cross department workflows, and data-driven decision-making. Skills that are important to possess include project management and the ability to work cross-functionally on processes, procedures and initiatives related to the day-to-day management of Beacon’s agency distribution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end agent onboarding process and coordinate agency training.
- Partner with legal on producer appointments, terminations, and contract updates.
- Ensure compliance with multi-state regulations and maintain accurate records.
- Build strong relationships with agents and internal teams.
- Lead agency licensing audits and address compliance issues proactively.
- Coordinate and drive annual agency planning process, including master spreadsheet and business plans
- Produce Agency production reports and tracking to evaluate performance of key programs and initiatives
- Oversee Agency Compensation process, including communication, planning, and budgeting
- Troubleshoot cross department issues involving agents and ensure issue is brought to resolution

- Knowledge of insurance operations, and/or agency operations
- Ability to learn and work with and through cross functional department workflows
- Aptitude to review and interpret data
- Ability to research and resolve problems using critical thinking skills
- Strong project management skills and a detail-oriented approach
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and build relationships.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field and 5 years previous experience in insurance agency management, policyholder services, or a similar role or equivalent combination of skills and experience.
Strong understanding of insurance operations and agency workflows.
Experience in data-driven decision-making and report generation
