As a Lab Analyst, you'll perform important work that provides high quality, defensible data for our clients. In this role you’ll use state-of-the-art equipment & instruments to generate analytical data supporting environmental compliance and decision making.

What Will You Be Doing?
- Generate analytical data to support environmental compliance and decision making
- Perform analyses following SOPs based on approved analytical methods using a variety of analytical techniques, equipment and instrumentation
- Utilize technical knowledge to apply problem solving skills in a focused area of the lab and execute analyses consistently across a range of analytical techniques
- Identify and help implement procedural opportunities for time savings
- Support and participate in quality events such as audits

Qualifications
- Bachelor's in chemistry, Environmental Science, Biology or related area; OR equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of hands-on, laboratory analysis job experience outside of academia
- Starting pay is dependent on experience level
- Prior on-the-job experience involving SVOA, (semi-volatile organic analyses), Inorganics or Microbiology lab analysis is helpful but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 pounds periodically during each work shift.
- Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 10 pounds constantly.
- Engage in the following movements: Balancing, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, picking, grasping, climbing, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motion.
- The incumbent is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines.
- The incumbent is potentially subject to conditions that affect the respiratory system of the skin: odors, gases, poor ventilation.
