Amazon Private Brands (APB) is global brand portfolio including Amazon Basics and Amazon Essentials, offering products our customers love at great value within Hardlines, Consumables and Softlines. The APB Environmental Sustainability team is looking for an experienced product manager to drive strategy and innovation in how we measure and positively impact water, waste and biodiversity footprint of our products and supply chains. This role is covering parental leave.

As the Snr Product Manager for Environment, you will be responsible for developing our strategy for water, waste and biodiversity. You will partner closely with Worldwide Sustainability to develop measurement methodologies and design impact programs, ensuring we understand where our priorities are. You will work closely with APB Sustainability Operations and Sourcing teams to execute our strategies within the supply chain. This role requires skills to communicate clearly and influence across a global organization and manage a high degree of ambiguity.
Basic qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology
Key job responsibilities
• Program Management across APB water, waste and biodiversity programs
• Develop / evolve measurement methodologies for water, waste and biodiversity and continually improve the fidelity of our data.
• Design impact programs for high priority areas for water, waste and biodiversity and roll out across APB teams.
• Develop reporting of water, waste and biodiversity metrics, integrating metrics into product family reporting.
• Educate APB teams on the importance of water, waste and biodiversity programs and generate customer insights.
• Champion APB's needs with the Worldwide Sustainability relevant teams and other business units.
• Ensure a high standard of delivery and progress against goals.
