Job description
• Act as member of sustainability communications and strategy task team, attending regular meetings and sharing voice (in terms of current/evolving issues in the field and as a UNIQLO business region)
• Assist in managing HK Region from a sustainability point of view both-on-going programs and new initiatives
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, employees, customers, suppliers, investors, NGOs, and industry organizations. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify ESG risks and opportunities, gather feedback, and drive sustainable practices throughout the value chain.
• Collaborate with internal teams across various functions, including operations, supply chain, marketing, and human resources, to integrate sustainability principles into business processes, product development, procurement, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Identify and engage with relevant external partners, NGOs, industry associations, and other key stakeholders to strengthen collaboration, knowledge sharing, and partnership building.
• Support internal and external sustainability communications, including but not limited to campaigns and events
• Assist in the preparation of professional documentation, reports, presentation materials and contents related to sustainability
Job Requirement
• Degree holder in Environment Science3, Communications or relevant disciplines in Sustainability
• Minimum 4 years' working experience in sustainability or environmental-related work
• Develops and delivers communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
• Excellent data analysis and interpretation skills, with proficiency in using data analytics tools and software.
• Initiative, assertive, strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Good time management and able to work under pressure and tight deadline
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and Chinese word-processing is a must
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
