The SKLEBA invites applications for Research Assistant Professor in Mass Spectrometry and related areas.The appointees are expected to establish his/her own research team and conduct independent research. PhD degree and in Chemistry or relevant area, preferably in Analytical Chemistry, and post-doc experience in mass spectrometry, proteomics, metabolomics or environmental toxicology research is required.
The SKLEBA and HKBU will provide start-up fund for the successful applicant. The SKLEBA has the best mass spectrometry facility in Hong Kong, including 4 Orbitrap MS as well as Bruker TIMS-TOF2 and Rapiflex MALDI-Imaging.
The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of three years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to performance review, mutual agreement and availability of funding.
