Responsibilities
- Delivery of Environmental Impact Assessment Reports
- Taking ownership of projects from inception to completion and providing regular project updates to the environment team director and clients;
- Project Lead on EIA projects involving multidisciplinary teams;
- Technical lead in a discipline as related to EIA an advantage e.g. ecology, noise or air quality;
- Preparing planning applications, licences, permits and annual environmental reports e.g. waste licences;
- Knowledge of the regulatory environment in Ireland including planning and permitting/licensing requirements;
- Prioritising projects while balancing client expectations, available staff resources and project deadlines;
- Proposal preparation, and identifying follow on work opportunities with existing clients and work to develop opportunities broadening Golder’s client base;

The Environment team in Ireland is a diverse team of environmental scientists, ecologists, geologists and environmental engineers who work collaboratively on projects. We are delivering projects in the energy, manufacturing, development and mining sectors that have a real impact on Ireland’s sustainability goals. We have a culture of ownership of projects and work as one team with a flat structure. Our office in Naas is centrally located with ample parking and nearby public transport links. Qualifications
- Are an experienced project manager who has successfully delivered EIA projects of scale in Ireland.
- Have a sound understanding of EIA and planning laws that affect EIA in Ireland.
- Are enthusiastic about project ownership and want to grow within the team in Ireland.
