Senior Advisor – Environmental Impact Assessment Team
At EY Hungary, our Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS) team seeks to build a better working world by helping businesses and governments respond to societal, environmental and economic challenges. We help businesses understand and evaluate the broader value impacts and outcomes associated with their organizations, operations, programs and projects. Our global team is multidisciplinary and combines our core knowledge in accounting and reporting with expertise in technical and regulatory sustainability issues.

Your key responsibilities
- Managing EIA projects for industrial/property developments
- Consultation with our clients and relevant authorities
- Assessment of environmental risks of industrial/property developments
- Preparation of environmental permitting documentations (e.g. IPPC, EIA)
- Preparation of climate risk, and climate adaptation assessments
- Evaluation of developments according to biodiversity requirements
- Preparation and evaluation of air dispersion model and noise model
- Preparation of proposals
- Preparation of environmental declarations, reports

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bsc/ MSc degree in science, environmental engineering or other relevant field
- Min. 2-3 years of relevant experience preferably with a consulting mindset
- Experience in EIAs of industrial or infrastructural developments of various industries
- Experience in leading client relationships and people management
- Basic knowledge of Autocad and geospatial software solutions (ArcGis or Qgis)
