WSP has a new opportunity for a Senior Climate Change Consultant to join our Sustainability Services team on a full-time contract basis based in Turin or Milan.
The Consultant will join our growing climate change team, contributing to projects like climate risk assessments, adaptation plans, and sustainable finance. This role supports business growth, client relationship development, and delivery of ESG and climate services for public and private clients, including International Financial Institutions.
YOUR NEW ROLE, WHATS INVOLVED?
- Support project management, opportunity identification and pursuit, in the service areas of ESG and climate change consulting
- Support clients in the design, implementation and reporting of climate change adaptation studies and strategies
- Contribute to the establishment of trusted relationships with clients and business partners
- Provide technical input in the development of effective and innovative reports and proposals
WHAT IF IT WAS YOU?
- Degree in Environmental/Chemical/Mechanical/Energy/Management Engineering or other relevant study career with sustainability focus
- Knowledge of European and international regulatory framework in the field of climate change, sustainability, EU taxonomy and sustainable finance cycle.
Experience in the following fields:
- Climate change adaptation (e.g.: physical vulnerability and risk assessment, transition risks and opportunities)
- Climate-related disclosures in line with relevant frameworks (e.g.: vs. DNSH, Paris Agreement, EU Taxonomy).
REQUIREMENTS:
- Willingness to travel for short trips in Italy and abroad
- Excellent English (both written and spoken). Knowledge and ability to work in other languages (French, Spanish, etc.) would be considered as a plus.
- Excellent knowledge of Office suite, data management tools
- Driving license B
