The environmental specialist maintains safe and hazard-free living and working conditions in all buildings. This is a Full-time/40 hours per week position reporting to the Facilities Manager. 1+ years of experience in property upkeep preferred.Essential Responsibilities:Performs a range of housekeeping duties to maintain a clean interior and exterior environment throughout assigned properties.Report hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Facilities Manager for immediate resolutionMaintains daily cleaning of assigned propertiesEnsure the availability of clean linens through washing, drying and folding linens as assigned.Basic tasks include, but are not limited to: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing, polishing, dusting, and the cleansing of any and all designated objects/areas.Operate vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, buffers and wall washing equipment including any other power machinery as instructed.Maintains stock of all housekeeping supplies in assigned areas and maintains housekeeping closets and equipment.Performs daily floor care maintenance.Sets up and cleans meeting rooms.Collects and disposes of trash and waste (both infectious and non-infectious) as needed.Cleans, disinfects and sanitizes items such as bathroom sinks, floor, and shower (if applicable); fill soap dispenser, and paper towel and tissue dispensers.Communicates to supervisor any repairs needed and submit appropriate work orders.Follows established safety procedures.Skills & Competencies:?
