Job Description
AirAsia is seeking to recruit a new team member to strengthen its Sustainability commitments and cascade achievable goals group-wide in our efforts to meet the highest Environmental, Social, and Governance standards. S/he will report to the Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) and work towards addressing factors that impact the long-term sustainability of aviation.
What You'll Champion:
Develop and implement Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) goals and initiatives in line with the Group’s ESG strategy
Publish the IAA Annual Sustainability Report in accordance with the listing requirements of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX)
Align reporting to Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards, Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI), and other relevant global indices
Track sustainability metrics and maintain a data dashboard
Communicate AirAsia’s sustainability commitments to internal and external stakeholders
Provide ESG updates when required to the IAA Management, Board, and/or Board committees Participate in relevant meetings, forums, and workshops on aviation sustainability especially in relation to the Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation (CORSIA), Sustainable Aviation Fuel and carbon markets
The ideal candidate should be:
Enthusiastic about sustainability and able to work on several projects simultaneously
Creative, detail-oriented, good with numbers, and able to find solutions to unexpected problems Comfortable with independently planning tasks and managing time, including the tracking and processing of information in a fast-moving environment
Have excellent stakeholder management skills, preferably with prior experience in dealing with ministries and government agencies
Who You Are:
Minimum 4 years of working experience in aviation or sustainability fields
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related subjects Knowledge of sustainability principles and CORSIA regulations
Excellent command of spoken and written Bahasa Indonesia and English
Proficiency in using Google Suite Applications
Personal maturity and the ability to interact with a variety of people, including at the highest level Position to be based in Tangerang with regular travel required within the AirAsia network
