We are currently seeking a Environmental Operations Leader, EHS to lead a critical pillar in our Global EHS Center of Excellence (COE).
Please note, this role is 100% onsite in Casa Grande, AZ. Relocation assistance is available.

You Will:
- Act as Arizona region primary point-of-contact for routine multi-media environmental management at physical locations assuring tactical and procedural compliance in all aspects of daily operations (e.g. Air Quality, Storm Water, Wastewater, Hazardous Waste), based at AMP-1.
- Support local implementation, monitoring, and measuring to Lucid EHS Management System requirements and assure applicable ISO 14001 requirements are satisfied, as applicable.
- Partner with SME’s within global EHS center of excellence to gain support and alignment across varying projects, issues, and daily operating needs.
- Supervise internal and 3rd party personnel to ensure resources are managed in providing support across scope of the Arizona region operations primarily and supplemental support for other North America hazardous waste needs.
- Assure coverage during staff absences and address workload capabilities.
- Lead shift briefings communicating team objectives, best practices, and priority changes.
- Provide a team environment fostering collaboration and recognition!
- Facilitate the completion of all standard operating procedures and risk assessment for routine work and job-hazard-analysis for non-routine work.
- Ensure Team activities are carried out in accordance with Environmental, Health, & Safety (EHS) policy and procedures.
- Maintain coherence within waste tracking systems in Excel, Smartsheet, Jira Ticketing System, and 3rd-party software’s.
- Act as liaison with waste disposal contractor to manage waste shipments and ensure Hazardous Waste is coordinated with required updates in waste tracking systems.
- Identify data gaps within waste tracking systems and take corrective actions to closure.
- Review overall performance metrics for areas of responsibility with EHS leadership.
- Support emergency response for hazardous waste team first responders to waste and chemical-related incidents.
- Identify training/coaching opportunities, create One Point Lessons (OPL), and Lucid Online Learning courses to ensure understanding and compliance within team and broader organization.
- Oversee consumable management by monitoring inventory and ordering supplies.
- Ability to work rotating shifts and weekends, if needed.
You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or related EHS field.
- 3-5 years RCRA-specific waste management experience.
- 3-5 years of multi-media environmental program responsibility within industrial sector.
- 5-7 years of manufacturing experience, preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work across various levels of the organization.
- Strong computer proficiency in MS Office applications and database management systems; with ability to chart data and present performance status to business.
- Fundamental understanding of electronics technology, supply chain, and manufacturing processes.
Supervisory Requirements:
- Ability to establish operational objectives, work plans and critical metrics.
- Ability to allocate resources to meet schedules, goals and get results.
- Act as a lead person supporting regulatory inspections and drive actions to closure.
- Manage direct reports and provide mentorship, direction, and coaching.
- Coordinate activities for responsible programs with responsibility for budgets, schedules, work plans, staffing and performance requirements.
- Ability to travel up to 5%
Advantageous:
- Automobile or industrial experience working in EH&S is a plus.
- Spanish language abilities is a bonus.
