Job Description Summary
SUMMARY: As a key member of the Global Occupier Services (GOS) EHS Group, the role supports the internal strategy on a key client account. The EHS Specialist supports regulatory requirements, Service Level Agreements, policies, and corporate initiatives. Supports Cushman & Wakefield leadership to ensure strategic EHS initiatives are integrated into operations.
Job Description
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITES:
- Organizes EHS processes/programs for C&W staff.
- Engages field operations with tactical execution of EHS programs and systems.
- Implements Cushman & Wakefield EHS Corporate processes and systems at the field level.
- Partners with vendors on risks associated with their services and ensures EHS compliance.
- Investigates and reports all injury/incidents and implements new practices/corrective actions.
- Investigates EHS nonconformances and violations and prepares corrective action plans.
- Manages the SafetySkills Learning Management System and assigns appropriate trainings by role.
- Monitors and tracks completion in accordance with EHS KPIs.
- Participates in support activities that have the potential to cause an EHS impact.
- Identifies risk associated with the management of contractors.
- Collaborates to ensure regulatory requirements are implemented in accordance with the client’s existing programs.
- Oversees account’s PPE program including documented tracking.
- Implements Cushman & Wakefield EHS Corporate processes and systems.
REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES:
- Bachelor’s degree is required. Specialization in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering or Environmental Sciences is preferred.
- Requires 2-5 years of experience within the EHS profession.
- Knowledge of Environmental, Occupational Safety and Health regulations (OSHA/EPA).
- Ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to leverage office systems such as Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, etc.
- The ability to travel (approximately 20%).
- Candidates with the ability to obtain Professional Certifications (CSP, ASP, CHMM etc.) are desirable.
