ICF provides the UK Government with expert support in the design, development and evaluation of public policy in the UK. We help Defra, Natural England, the Marine Management Organisation, Environment Agency and other organisations to understand what works and how to increase impact.
Strong demand for our services in these areas means we are accelerating the growth of our team and recruiting into research and analytic roles at all levels of our organisation, from early career to experienced practitioners. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates whose interest in one or more of the policy areas above is combined with expertise in:
- Design and delivery of evaluations
- Social research methodologies
- Data science
- Economic analysis
Successful candidates will have:
- Experience of one or more of the policy areas listed above, preferably in a UK context.
- Strong research and analysis skills.
- Good team-working skills.
- The ability to communicate clearly in written English.
Prior experience in a consulting environment would be an advantage but we also welcome applicants with backgrounds in academia, government and non-governmental employment.
We give active support to career progression. We are committed to learning and personal development - providing in-house training programmes on evaluation and research methods, access to our communities of practice and online learning resources.
We have a flexible, hybrid model in which you can balance working from home with use of our bases in London, Plymouth, Leeds, Birmingham and Manchester.
