Job Description:
Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for an Environmental Specialist Trainee/Environmental Specialist (dependent on experience) within the Technical and Environmental Services Group at our Headquarters facility in Millersville, MD. This position will assist in managing portions of work as a member of a multidisciplinary team of environmental scientists, engineers and other professionals. The ideal candidates may support both field or office tasks be familiar with the practices and principals of stormwater management and monitoring.
Estimated Pay Range:
Trainee: $43,909.83 - $60,376.59
Specialist: $48,301.85 - $66,414.31

Minimum Requirements:
Minimum education requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, ecology or a related field from an accredited college or university plus:
Environmental Specialist Trainee – No additional experience is required.
Environmental Specialist – one year of experience in environmental science, regulations, engineering, or management.
Applicants may substitute an applicable advanced education degree for up to two years of required experience. Must have a valid driver's license with less than 5 points.
