Job Description

Job Title: Electrical Engineer Solar PV

Location: Upington

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Ulter new and Existing project
  • O&M Duties
  • Financial Reporting
  • Ensure consistent reliability and availability of electrical assets by implementing robust maintenance strategies aligned with operational goals.
  • Manage, validate, and optimise electrical system designs, installations, and assessments.
  • Direct a comprehensive team of electrical technicians, both hired staff and contractors, to maintain adherence to schedules and effectively resolve technical issues.
  • Conduct systematic risk assessments and ensure adherence to all relevant safety and electrical standards.
  • Oversee and coordinate the execution of routine maintenance, addressing troubleshooting, repairs, and updates on-site.

    • Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s of Engineering Electrical
    • Professionally Registered as an Electrical Engineer

    Experience:

    • 5 years in Power Plant in South Africa
