Job Description
Asset Manager – Renewable Energy
Location: Cape Town, South Africa
Our Client is seeking an experienced Asset Manager to
oversee renewable energy assets across sub-Saharan Africa. You will drive asset
performance, manage financial and operational metrics, and ensure compliance
with commercial, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Management:
Oversee the performance of power plants, ensuring alignment with financial
and operational targets.
- Financial Oversight:
Update financial models, track KPIs, and analyze data using Power BI.
- Compliance &
Reporting: Ensure adherence to agreements and provide regular performance
reports to stakeholders.
- Revenue Optimization:
Monitor energy production, resolve anomalies, and manage timely revenue
collection.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
Coordinate with lenders, contractors, and internal teams to achieve
project goals.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Finance,
Business Science, or related field.
- 5+ years in asset
management, project finance, or renewable energy operations.
- Advanced proficiency in
Power BI and financial modelling.
