We Are Hiring: Wind Energy Resource Engineer for a Leading Renewable Energy Firm
Location: Cape Town, South Africa

About the Role:
Join our dynamic team as a Wind Energy Resource Engineer. In this crucial role, you will provide technical expertise to our engineering and construction divisions, focusing on wind data analysis, site assessment, resource evaluation, and wind farm design and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and implement meteorological data measurement campaigns.
Configure and select meteorological sensors and data loggers.
Oversee the installation, validation, and maintenance of meteorological equipment.
Manage data collection and quality assurance, including incident detection and fault analysis.
Contribute to site prospecting, energy predictions, and due diligence for site acquisitions.
Develop detailed and optimized wind farm layout designs.
Ensure turbine performance and compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications:

Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Electromechanical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
Proficient in wind farm analysis software and MS Office.
Knowledge of drafting and mapping software is advantageous.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within the renewable energy sector.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required

Requirements
