Job Title: Construction Manager - Wind Energy

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Manager to lead and oversee wind energy projects in the Western Cape. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in managing large-scale wind energy projects, demonstrating strong leadership, project management, and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the construction phase of wind energy projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and regulatory bodies, to drive project milestones.
  • Oversee site activities and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Plan, schedule, and monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources to optimize efficiency.
  • Supervise site teams, subcontractors, and construction personnel, providing clear guidance and support.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards and adherence to project specifications.
  • Report on project progress, challenges, and solutions to senior management.
  • Mitigate risks and implement proactive measures to address potential issues.
  • Ensure all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience managing wind energy construction projects, preferably in large-scale infrastructure or renewable energy sectors.
