About the job and your team
As a Senior Commercial Manager your overall responsibilities includes various aspects within business development and asset ownership of our Swedish portfolio.
You will manage parts of the Swedish projects and partnerships, with main tasks such as to:
- identify and evaluate potential project/partner opportunities through greenfield or M&A.
- build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including project developers, technical experts, government agencies, utilities, and financial institutions.
- be an important part of the deal team for project acquisitions, partnerships, joint ventures, or other business arrangements.
- develop and implement strategies for maximizing the performance and profitability of our projects and partnerships, from development through to operations.
- act as the asset owner for your projects, e.g. represent REIN in SteerCos or relevant decision and oversee and follow up on contractual obligations.
You will be joining the Swedish unit, a fast moving and pioneering team within Hydro Rein. The Swedish team is currently six people and growing. This position will report to Head of Sweden.

Your qualifications and skills
- More than 7 years of work experience, preferably within the Scandinavian renewable sector, including commercial, business development and asset ownership positions.
- Higher education, preferably master’s degree in business or engineering.
- Professional proficiency in English and Swedish and/or Danish. Other European languages will be seen as an advantage.
- Having experience from management consulting from a top tier firm is a plus.

The location of this role is in Stockholm, alternatively Gothenburg or Luleå, where our current Hydro Rein teams in Sweden are based.
