JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to join our team and contribute to the successful execution of renewable energy projects, specifically utility-scale solar installations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing electrical construction work in utility-scale solar power projects and a deep understanding of electrical systems and equipment commonly used in renewable energy infrastructure.
As the Electrical Superintendent, you will oversee and coordinate electrical operations on-site, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to schedules. You will be responsible for managing electrical work crews, ensuring proper installation of medium voltage systems, inverters, sectionalizers, and other critical components of utility-scale solar systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise electrical construction and installation of utility-scale solar projects, ensuring all work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Oversee the installation of medium voltage terminations, inverter rough-in and stub-up, sectionalizer cabinets, ground rings, and cable feeding.
- Coordinate and manage electrical crews to ensure that work is completed in compliance with project specifications and electrical codes.
- Maintain project documentation, including JHAs, daily logs, and other required project documentation.
- Promote a culture of safety, providing safety leadership and ensuring that all team members follow OSHA and company safety protocols.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Preferred minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical construction, with a preferred focus on utility-scale solar.
- Proven ability to lead and supervise electrical crews, ensuring safe and effective work practices.
- In-depth knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) and local electrical codes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, outdoor, and physically demanding environment.

- Annual Salary: $125,000+ based on experience
