At Accenture, our Strategy & Consulting Resources team is growing and looking for experienced Consultants, to help global energy companies overcome challenges, optimize, and innovate their business.
Your Role: As a Management Consultant in Resources, you’ll be part of a supportive, dynamic team solving exciting challenges for leading companies in the Energy, Utilities, and Renewables Industry. Whether you are leading a project workstream or supporting one, you will provide strategic recommendations, manage timelines and resources, and deliver high-quality presentations. You will help clients optimize operations, achieve growth, and strategically position for the future energy market, all while developing your own skills and expertise.
Key Responsibilities as a Management Consultant include:
- Manage projects end-to-end: Guide clients through comprehensive business transformations, from initial idea development and strategy creation to strategic planning, resource coordination, project execution, and implementation.
- Drive innovation: Apply digital tools and new technologies like AI and analytics to improve operations, maintenance, project execution or technology development.
- Optimize business operations: Assess and improve client organizational structures, processes, and workflows, ensuring they are well-positioned to achieve their strategic goals.
- Facilitate workshops and deliver insights: Conduct workshops and presentations that provide strategic recommendations to clients.
- Be a trusted advisor: Guide clients through the energy transition and help them adapt to changing industry dynamics.
- Support business growth: Identify opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and contribute to proposal work for future projects.
Typical projects could be:
- Analysis of energy company’s current operation, project portfolio or digital landscape, assessing the gap to leading industry players, and developing roadmap recommendations with execution strategies.
- Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and develop and implement tailored digital strategies that support clients' digital transformation journeys, helping them achieve their business goals through innovation and technological advancement.

We believe you have:
- Master’s degree with strong academic results in a relevant field, e.g., finance, industrial economics, social economics, change management, business, leadership and administration, mathematics or other relevant areas.
- 2-5 years of experience in consulting related to management/strategy consulting or technology advisory, or relevant experience from the Energy, Utilities, and Renewables industries. For Manager level, the candidate is expected to have more than five years of relevant experience.
- Experience collaborating in cross-functional and global teams and thriving in creative problem-solving environments.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (English and a Scandinavian language).
- A commercial mindset and the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities together with other Accenture Managers/Senior Managers.
- Passion for technology, innovative solutions and digital transformations.
The position will report to the Managing Director for the Nordic Energy Industries, and the workplace is Oslo/Stavanger, Norway.
