Flexcity, a leading European energy tech company, is looking for a Asset Leader Renewables to join our Product team. This position offers the opportunity to join the Flexcity Product team, alongside skilled colleagues from different backgrounds at the company headquarters in Brussels.

Renewables are booming, but their business case is under pressure. Subsidies are disappearing, Capture rates are falling rapidly, and balancing costs have become a real issue. For Renewable Energy owners, it becomes increasingly important to consider the optimal short-term operation and optimisation of their assets.

In this context, Flexcity is building out a significant portfolio of Renewable Energy Sources throughout Europe that it operates and optimises.

We are convinced that Renewable Energy Sources' flexibility and optimal operation will be essential in driving their rollout.

Job Description

Role

As an Asset Leader Renewables , you will focus on this emerging market, where Flexcity aims to be a market leader.

Within the Product Team, you will be part of the Battery team. This cross-functional team includes data scientists and local portfolio managers. Your role is divided into the following:

Strategic - 30%

Develop a clear, compelling vision for Flexcity Renewables Strategy
Define Flexcity’s ideal positioning in this space and a go-to-market strategy together with local Teams
Lead discovery efforts to define customer offerings
You have deep knowledge of the market and industry in which you compete. This includes your competitors and key trends in new technology, as well as customer behaviours and expectations and regulations such as subsidies.

Growth - 40 %

You become Flexcity’s go-to person for understanding anything about Renewable Customer for Core and expansion countries
You become an expert on the Heat customers, their issues, pains, desires, how they acknowledge their problems, their business processes, how they work, and how they decide to buy.
Drive growth, focusing on expanding the client base and enhancing sales & operational efficiency by developing scalable tools and standard features.
Support the sales and growth teams in closing complex commercial deals that require a deep understanding of Flexcity's products and value proposition
Identify and validate new opportunities for asset service discovery, working across teams to commercialise these offerings.
Establish a strong relationship with your stakeholders and business partners. Build partnerships & relations that will enable the growth of the Heat vertical.

Product Execution - 20%

Work with technology teams and the Core Product Team to ensure alignment with product goals, write functional descriptions, and provide a deep understanding of business needs by Technology.
You are responsible for and enable the delivery of strategic project

Team Development & Leadership - 10%

Develop and facilitate effective collaboration with country teams
Foster a culture of growth, collaboration, accountability, rapid testing and learning

Qualifications

Hard Skills

Fluent in English and French or Dutch, trilingual being a strong plus
