Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Merger and Acquisition Expert to lead and oversee strategic M&A initiatives in the renewable energy sector. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of renewable energy markets, financial analysis, deal structuring, and integration processes. You will play a critical role in identifying, evaluating, negotiating, and executing transactions that align with our organization’s growth and sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Market Analysis
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential targets within the renewable energy industry.
- Develop and execute M&A strategies that align with the company’s objectives for growth and sustainability.

Deal Origination and Evaluation
- Identify potential M&A targets, partnerships, and joint ventures in the renewable energy space.
- Perform rigorous financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence on potential deals.
- Evaluate risks, synergies, and the strategic fit of acquisition opportunities.

Negotiation and Deal Structuring
- Lead negotiations to structure deals that maximize value for the organization.
- Collaborate with legal, tax, and financial advisors to ensure compliance and optimal transaction outcomes.

Integration and Post-Merger Management
- Oversee post-merger integration to achieve strategic objectives and operational synergies.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of assets, technology, and personnel.

Stakeholder Engagement and Reporting
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including C-suite executives, investors, and regulatory authorities.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for executive decision-making and board review.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years in renewable asset transaction(wind or solar), with proven track record of successful investment or divestment.
- Familiar with renewable energy life cycle, especially on development stage up to RTB
- Located in Europe/UK, ideally London or Germany
- Familiar with financial model. Fund raising and project financing is a plus.
- Preferred background: fund, developer
- Proficiency in English. Chinese is a plus.
