Ambia Solar is seeking an experienced Master Electrician licensed in Minnesota to oversee and execute electrical installations and solar panel systems in residential settings. The license must be issued by the Department of Business & Professional Regulation for MINNESOTA. This individual will be responsible for the safe, code-compliant installation, wiring, and electrical integration of solar power systems, ensuring high-quality service and adherence to Minnesota state and local electrical codes.
As part of a dynamic solar team, you will work closely with engineers, project managers, and other electricians to ensure solar projects are completed on time, within budget, and in full compliance with Minnesota’s building and electrical regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure installations meet National Electrical Code (NEC), Minnesota electrical code, and solar industry standards.
- Supervise and mentor apprentice electricians and install crews on solar projects.
- Ensure compliance with all state and local regulations related to residential electrical and building codes.
- Conduct site assessments, and handle permits, inspections, and approval processes as required by local authorities.
- Stay current on evolving solar technologies, electrical best practices, and Minnesota-specific building and electrical codes.
Qualifications:
- Master Electrician License issued by the state of Minnesota.
- In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and Minnesota Electrical Code.
- Strong understanding of local building codes, permitting processes, and inspection procedures.
