Sales Trainer
Compensation: $55k-75k pr/yr

Trainer – Residential Solar Sales and Canvassing Teams
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Trainer to design, implement, and lead training programs for our growing residential solar installation company. The trainer will work closely with our inside and outside sales teams, as well as our canvass teams, to ensure they have the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their roles.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs tailored to the needs of inside sales, outside sales, and canvass teams.
- Conduct weekly ride-alongs with team members to observe, provide feedback, and refine training content, especially during the initial phase of employment.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to identify performance gaps and provide targeted training solutions.
- Facilitate onboarding sessions for new hires to ensure smooth integration into the company.
- Continuously evaluate and update training materials to stay aligned with industry trends and company goals.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to team members to improve their effectiveness and confidence.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in training and coaching sales teams, preferably in the solar industry or related fields.
- Strong understanding of sales techniques and canvassing strategies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with regular travel for ride-alongs and field training sessions.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in developing training materials, including presentations, guides, and role-play scenarios.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in residential solar sales or installations.
- Familiarity with adult learning principles and effective training methodologies.
- Experience using CRM or other sales management tools.
