As a Delivery Driver, you’ll play a crucial role in our Solar Transportation Operations while:
- Safely delivering products in perfect condition to our customers
- Providing friendly, courteous and efficient customer service
- Picking, packing, and loading orders for delivery
- Inspecting delivery vehicles and ensuring the safety and security of the entire delivery process
Your role will be very hands-on; you’ll collaborate with team members to maintain accurate inventory, inspect incoming products, expedite the movement of products, and uphold our tidiness standards. Your role extends beyond day-to-day tasks - you’ll contribute to helping develop solutions. As safety is our priority, you’ll also be an active participant in our safety program.
If you’re ready to play a part in bringing clean energy to the world and have:
- A valid state-issued driver’s license
- 2+ years of recent experience with driving 26’ box trucks and/or flatbeds in a distribution environment
- Experience driving a forklift in a distribution setting required
- Experience with manual, electric pallet jack, lift gate, and tarping
- Ability to interact with customers in a courteous manner
- Recent experience with using computer terminals to look up information
- An ability to lift up to 75 pounds, carrying and moving heavy equipment and supplies
