SolarEdge is looking for a committed, flexible, performance-oriented and self-responsible reinforcement in the field of Technical Marketing Engineer to join our CZ/SK team.
As a Technical Marketing Engineer, you will work directly with the Sales Team and customers and will be the first point of contact for technical questions for our customers and for organizational interfaces regarding technical questions.
What will you do?
- Reporting to the CZ Country Manager and the Regional Technical Marketing lead, you will
- Conduct customer training via online tools or face to face
- Focal point for product and application queries [WK1] for SolarEdge customers
- Support new product launch process including field testing and liaison with sales, support and product teams
- Suggest technical solutions for product applications
- Work with the product management team in the region and HQ on the definition of new products/features based on customer feedback
- Review (or translate) and maintain technical docs as datasheets, application notes and other collateral to support customers
- Create and maintain training content
- Represent the CZ/SK market requirements for regulations, new products, features based on customer feedback
- Education in Electrical engineering (or similar technical education)
- Experience in both PV residential/commercial systems is a prerequisite
- Being able to independently elaborate and advise the AC and DC part of solar systems
- Affinity to technical products and renewable energy - a must!
- Confident handling of MS Office programs
- Experience delivering training
- Knowledge of Modbus interfaces and Modbus programming skills – a plus!
- CZ/SK native speaker, fluent in written and spoken language in English.
- Independent and proactive working style, commitment, great communication skills
- Fast learner, adaptive character type, team player
- Willingness to travel (up to 40% of the time)
