Grade Level:  Hourly 
Pay Rate:  $16.50/hour   
Schedule: Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and during school breaks. Schedule varies and is dependent on weather and guest attendance; schedule subject to change and may require late shift hours of up to 11 pm for special programs.

Admissions & Parking Associate
Essential duties may include:

•    Handle all in-park ticket & membership sales 
•    Validate tickets and admit entry into the park and various exhibits/attractions
•    Direct guests to park vehicles in designated parking locations 
•    Actively promote and inform guests about our diverse assortment of premium products; such as memberships
•    Process all transactions through the ticketing point-of-sale system
•    Assist with the operation of the New York Aquarium 4D Theater

Qualification Requirements

•    Ability to smile
•    Ability to engage in park related conversation with the general public 
•    Ability to stand for long periods of time
•    Ability to lift and/or move 20-50 pounds
•    Comfortable being exposed to cold and hot weather conditions
•    Ability to work well within a team 
•    Successfully be able to learn cash register responsibilities
•    Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
