Position Title: Senior Equipment Supervisor
Department: Equipment
Reports To: Equipment Manager
Description:
A Senior Equipment Engineer is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems. Performs equipment engineering design evaluations.
Responsibilities:
· Act as the technical expert for equipment development. This includes taking a leading role in equipment testing and validation
· Create documentation for equipment solutions, such as design definitions, quality specifications, assembly instructions and equipment design standards, etc.
· Lead idea generation for innovative design/equipment solutions to existing operational problems.
· Act as technical expert in area of ownership, providing technical expertise to other Engineering teams, alongside providing technical challenge for suppliers and partners
Qualifications:
· A bachelor’s degree in science, Engineering and Technology or equivalent related experience.
· Experience with introducing new equipment from concept all the way through validation and execution.
· Experience in innovation/R&D team
· 3+ years equipment automation experience
