Introduction

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Design Engineer to join our client's dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems for commercial solar projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure that our client's solar solutions are efficient, reliable, and compliant with all regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities

Design and model electrical systems for commercial solar installations using software such as AutoCAD and PVsyst.
Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine optimal system design.
Develop and review electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, and technical specifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project requirements and timelines.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and standards.
Prepare technical documentation and reports for internal and client use.
Provide support during the installation process, including troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues.
Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to solar energy.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
3 - 7 years of experience in electrical design, preferably in the solar or renewable energy sector.
Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
