JOB SUMMARY: This position is located in Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area, in the Science and Resource Management Division. MAJOR DUTIES: The major duties for this position include the following: Identifying local wildlife species Responding to bear management situations Opertaing and maintaining tools and traps for field use Managing human/wildlife issues The typical seasonal entry-on-duty period for Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area is May - October but can be variable during these months due to weather conditions, project needs, or funding.
