Job Description and Duties
The Division of Engineering Services (DES), Program/Project Management & Office Engineer (PPM&OE), Office of Program Management (OPM), Resource Coordination Branch (RCB), is recruiting to fill a Transportation Engineer (TE) (Civil) position, located in Sacramento.
Under the direction of the Resource Coordination Branch Chief, the incumbent will manage data electronically using departmental-approved applications and take the lead in preparing and presenting reports. They will develop and maintain business processes and procedures to ensure the timely delivery of Project Management information to the DES Managers and functional units. The incumbent will also ensure that DES functions have accurate data to meet project deadlines. Additionally, they will coordinate the development, maintenance, and quality control of DES Project Management reports to support various DES Functional Units, Headquarters (HQ), and Districts/Regions.
Candidates are required to review the Minimum Qualifications (MQs) for this classification. If you meet MQs under Pattern II and require the TE Civil in-person written hurdle exam, DO NOT TAKE the TE Civil online exam prior to passing the written hurdle. Candidates who take the TE Civil online exam prior to passing the written hurdle may negatively impact their hiring eligibility.
