What will you do in this role?
- Strategic Category Management: Develop and implement a comprehensive fleet category strategy, including electric vehicle (EV) transition and sustainability targets, ensuring alignment with global business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Market and Industry Analysis: Stay updated on fleet and mobility industry trends, analyzing market data to identify innovations, emerging technologies, and risks. Translate insights into actionable strategies that enhance category competitiveness.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Lead supplier negotiations and relationship-building initiatives to foster strategic partnerships that drive value. Ensure suppliers meet quality, sustainability, and performance criteria, collaborating to innovate in the mobility category.
- Performance and Spend Management: Oversee spend analysis and cost-saving initiatives, utilizing procurement tools (e.g., SAP MDG, Power BI) to build and maintain robust spend tracking and reporting. Regularly review and report on KPIs for cost optimization and sustainability.
- Sustainability Leadership: Lead initiatives to transition to more sustainable fleet solutions, such as EVs, Decent Work compliance, and carbon footprint reduction, in alignment with ISO 26000 and Ecovadis standards.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with regional procurement teams and business stakeholders, adopting a collaborative approach to achieve shared objectives. Drive category awareness and alignment with business units to support long-term organizational goals.
Who will you report to? Indirect Procurement Director Marketing Communication Contingent Workforce.
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration or related field is requires. Matster's degree/MBA is a plus.
- Experience: 5+ years in procurement or category management, with a focus on fleet leasing or mobility categories. Global or multi-regional experience is highly valued.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in fleet category management, with a deep understanding of Total Cost of Ownership for fleet and mobility solutions.
- Proficient in data analysis and digital tools for procurement and supplier management (e.g., SAP MDG, Power BI).
- Strong negotiation skills, with a proven track record in complex supplier and stakeholder negotiations.
- Soft Skills:
- Strategic thinker with the ability to influence and drive category decisions that support business growth and transformation.
- Excellent communication and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
- Results-oriented, proactive, and adaptable to a dynamic global environment.
- Strong leadership potential, with an emphasis on personal and professional development within the organization toward senior procurement roles.
