JOB SUMMARY: This position is located in the United States Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, Cereal Crops Improvement Research Unit in Fargo, ND. In this position, you will be responsible for improving yield and stability of yield of small grains under stress through research on genetics, genomics, pathology, and molecular biology. MAJOR DUTIES: Leads investigations of the molecular basis of host-pathogen interactions, particularly for economically significant bacterial and/or viral diseases in small grain cereals.
