We are seeking a dedicated individual to take on the pivotal role of Warehouse/Logistics Transformational Leader. Reporting to the Plant Transformation Leader, you will play a key part in implementing standard processes and driving continuous improvement in warehouse/logistics practices. What will you do?
• Implement warehouse operations processes to effectively control the receipt, storage, picking, and dispatch of products, systems, and services to customers
o Coach and educate the warehouse/logistics staff on the value of standard processes
o Ensure proper support during deployment phases and foster a culture of continuous improvement using lean practices
• Develop and establish acceptable standards with defined limits of variation, focusing on continuous improvement, ergonomics, capacity, investments, cost analysis, and performance
o Establish warehouse/logistics as an animation system in the plant
o Define yearly ambitions with Plant GM and monitor the warehouse/logistics improvement plan
• Implement operational techniques to monitor an efficient setup to optimize resource utilization and inventory
o Monitor productivity, efficiency and effectiveness of operations
o Establish process to monitor the storage, delivery, and dispatch of orders and keeping stock control systems up to date
• Follow up the warehouse/logistics transformation action plan to deliver results
o Focus on critical improvements and ensure momentum for expected results
o Support the Warehouse Manager in making necessary changes
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or related field
• 5+ years of experience in leadership role in Warehouse/Logistics or related in Manufacturing Environment
• End to End view with the ability to define and deploy standard processes for all warehouse/logistics related functions.
• Strong ability to influence and convince stakeholders. Resilient and curious.
• Demonstrated ability to drive change and deliver results - solid network management
• Team Player and Team builder
