About the Role
Main Responsabilities
Review site water balance data and make recommendations for improvements.
Analyse environmental program data against data quality objectives to inform management decisions.
Support multiple stakeholders in the planning and execution of projects.
Direct consultants and contractors to support environmental planning.
Develop and implement sampling program and studies to fill knowledge gaps.
Develop and maintain data visualization tools.
Position is based on Globe, Arizona, selected candidate will be expected to live within one hour of site.
Domestic (U.S.) travel required up to 20%.
About You
- Position requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in the engineering, geology, chemistry or environmental science.
- Experience with environmental data management, analysis and interpretation.
- Embraces new challenges as opportunities to aid in professional development.
- Knowledge of state and Federal regulatory programs.
- Experience in water quality sampling and instrumentation.
- Ability to manage several projects concurrently while meeting milestones and deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite, experience using data analysis tools such as R, relational databases or Power BI. Geographic information system (GIS) and water quality modeling experience is desirable.
- Ability to produce high quality technical reports and provide effective feedback on work produced by colleagues and consultants.
- Ability to work in remote areas and under extreme weather conditions.
