Duties:
Service
-Work independently to troubleshoot all solar and electrical issues to bring the system into proper working condition. This may include updates to wiring and interconnection, troubleshooting SolarEdge Inverters, commissioning and connecting to the cloud, moving panels, etc.
-Professionally represent the company by: arriving on time, being safe, speaking intelligently and with respect to customers, resolving the issue in one visit, and leaving no trace once the work is completed.
-Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs to enhance your skills and expertise in the solar industry.
Inspections
-Prep the site prior to inspection to ensure passability.
-Meet city inspectors on site with proper paperwork, ladders, and tools for residential solar system inspections.
-Act as an on site representative for Ambia for the customer and inspector.
-Pick up permits from jurisdictions and deliver to customers.
Requirements:
- Electrical License
-1-2 years in the solar industry is highly preferred.
-Familiarity with solar installation practices and equipment.
-General experience with electrical plans and field layouts.
-Able to work safely at heights, on ladders, and in confined areas.
- Strong attention to detail.
-Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
-Strong problem-solving skills.
-A commitment to safety protocols and adherence to industry regulations.
-Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
-High School Diploma or GED
