JOB SUMMARY: This position is located within the Agricultural Research Service, Plains Area, Range Management Research Unit, Las Cruces, New Mexico. The position will provide technical support to the Unit to acquire and manage field and laboratory data to support long-term meteorological and sediment transport monitoring and experiments, in all phases of research. This is a term, time-limited appointment with an initial duration no less than 13 months and can be extended up to a total of 10 years. MAJOR DUTIES: Uses a variety of specialized equipment to perform a full range of techniques to measure and monitor meteorological, sediment transport and carbon cycle processes.
